Headquartered in the heart of one of Switzerland’s top technology poles, the EPFL Innovation Park in Saint-Sulpice, overlooking the stunning Léman Lake (Lausanne), we are on a mission to accelerate the transition to the new era of biological testing, where scalability, efficiency, sustainability, and ethics can finally go hand in hand.

Our first product, SydLab™ One, pioneers the field of Organism-on-Chip technologies, a new class of laboratory devices enabling the discovery and testing of new drugs and chemicals using microorganisms instead of traditional animal tests.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly accomplished and visionary Chief Commercial Officer to join our dynamic organization. As the head of sales and marketing, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for building and leading our commercial organization, with direct visibility of your work to the board of the company. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with our business goals and objectives.
  • Build, lead and inspire a team of sales and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and expanding our customer base.
  • Identify and appoint distributors in selected countries to expand our market reach and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Build and establish our organization in the United States, strategically positioning us for success in a key market.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive KPI dashboard for the Sales and Marketing department, enabling data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Take ownership of the financial results, including sales revenue, gross margin, and cost control within the Sales and Marketing department.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and expanding our customer base.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify innovative approaches and stay ahead of the competition.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated success in a B2B environment within the Life Science Instrumentation industry, with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Having already had C-level and startup experiences is considered a plus
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline.
  • Possess a strong background in commercial education, with an MBA being an advantage.
  • Proven experience in various roles, including sales, product management, and marketing, showcasing a well-rounded skill set.
  • Possess a relevant network within the Nagi business, leveraging connections and relationships to drive business growth.
  • Despite an advanced career, you remain hands-on and are ready to actively engage and lead by example.
  • Understanding of startup culture and/or previous experience in startups is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.
